I love my new rug. Because it's smooth and flat, it's easy to clean - but it's heavy enough that the vacuum cleaner doesn't lift it up. With two cats who like to claw rugs, it's holding up very well. When you have cats you need to expect some level of vandalism, and I'm confident that my rug will hold up to well. I selected a rustic style with lots of colour and a natural undertone. If I had selected a more precise, geometric style I expect it would look a bit shabby after the cats had given it a good claw, but the design I chose will hide the odd claw mark or scuff really well. I'm very likely to buy the same type again in a different style for my bedroom.
